Our Group Family Camp at Glenrock Scout Camp (Newcastle) will be held over the

Weekend of 13th to 15 of November 2026 (Friday to Sunday).

We are looking forward to getting all our Scouting families together to get to know each other better by sharing a wonderful weekend together. We have a few activities planned for the weekend including; canoeing, bushwalking, play on the beach, and explore the rock platform, however, please do not feel the need to join in if you would rather just relax and do your own thing.

The cost is $70 per head which includes camping fees for the weekend and meals (same price for 1 or 2 nights). Fees will be capped at $300 to allow large families to attend. More details will be provided to those who register, including: a map and driving directions, a ‘What to bring list’.

Remember …… it is Scouts policy that all adults who attend an overnight activity must be registered with Scouts NSW. This is another way of ensuring the safety of all children. This does not cost anything, nor does it make you a leader, but it does keep our activity legal and our children safe. 

To register with Scouts NSW as an Adult Helper. Go to our group’s page https://2nd-3rd-pennant-hills.group.scoutsnsw.com.au/ and select Register as a member>Full Member>New Adult Helper. Fill out your details and you’re done.
